Greg, our guide met us at the airport in Cluj driving us north to Sighetu Marmetiei, on the Easter weekend of the Orthodox Church. Getting to know Greg was one of the particular pleasures of the trip, knowledgeable with excellent Romanian, Greg is both attentive and intrepid. You would not believe the places our 4×4 vehicle got us, far exceeding our expectations.
When you come to a place like Romania, there are two things you should bring, an open mind and good humoured acceptance of whatever arises. With these things, Vali’s meticulous planning and Greg’s good natured and informative guiding, you will be rewarded with many rich and diverse cultural experiences and amazing off road adventures.
